The Brookshire community centers around the Brookshire Golf Club, which is located near the intersection of 161st St and Carey Rd, directly across the street from Carey Ridge Elementary School, and just minutes away several Carmel attractions, like Clay Terrace and several restaurants.

The Brookshire Golf Club itself is located at 12120 Brookshire Parkway. This 18-hole, par-72 championship course was designed by Carmel course architect William Diddel in 1970, and features 6,651 yards of golf from the longest tees.

Brookshire is a public course, owned by the city of Carmel. Amenities include a driving range, 15 tee stations, a chipping green, putting green and driving range; a 1,000 square-foot pro shop, a fleet of electric golf carts, snack bar, bar, beverage cart, and banquet/catering facilities.

But maybe the finest amenity of all–at least for anyone who owns a Brookshire golf course home–is the view.
